There is a Chinese saying “qi ren you tian”, that is, in the Zhou Dynasty there was a man from the Kingdom of Qi , he always worried that the sky would fall, so he was often full of fear. This was out of the man’s ignorance and fear of the unknown. Of course, if people have such concerns, it is good to be ready in advance, but if you always worry about things that have not happened, then all the current joys and happiness will be lost. Therefore, we should think that since a lot of things in the future are unpredictable, then we should not think too much about it, because if it should happen, it will happen anyway. Instead of worrying too much about the future, it is better to do our best in the present, and think positively so that we are happy before the problem comes. Then actively learn Buddhism, realise the truth, practice meditation, enhance concentration, so that when difficulties come, we can also have a better ability to deal with them. Then when you can keep your mind stay in the present moment and cultivate in the present moment, everything in the future can become more certain and better.
As the saying goes, the present moment determines the future. The key is that we should understand enough the truth of cause and effect, and understand enough the principles of pursuing good fortune and avoiding calamities, so that the future can also be completely grasped in our own hands.
Besides, using less electronic products, reading less news and novels, not always focusing your attention outwardly also helps. Instead, do more meditation, appropriate physical exercise, more time in nature, and often look after your heart, so that the heart can become more and more quiet, more and more powerful.
Also cultivate the habit of reading, often read Buddhist scriptures, read more quotes from the sages, listen to wise teachings, read more stories about history, cause and effect stories, thoroughly learn the principles of the world and how to communicate with the world, thus the heart will become very mature and calm, full of power and wisdom.
